A couple of weeks ago Mr S came home with one of the best treats I have had in a long time. It was a dark chocolate and beetroot brownie from a cafe in Melbourne called Ora. The next day I asked him to bring me home two more. I decided that this was not sustainable him bringing me home brownie each day so set out to create my own.
I used a recipe from The Way to My Family’s Heart and it was delicious! I used stevia and half cacao powder instead of all of the cocoa. Make sure to slowly add in the beetroot and taste test lots to ensure you have the right amount of chocolate for you. The right dark chocolate is also key.
